This CD ROM, compiled by the School Development Planning Support Service (Primary), contains a wide range of resources to assist schools and individual teachers with all aspects of organisational and curricular planning. For your convenience, it also includes copies of legislation relating to schools, DES Circulars categorised by topic, and guidelines/reports published by DES and other agencies.

The CD ROM has been designed with ease of navigation in mind. The menu at the left of your screen enables you to quickly locate items you might need and documents in Microsoft Word format can be easily downloaded in order to customize them for use in your own school or classroom.

The layout of the CD ROM closely resembles that of the SDPS website. While materials on the CD ROM are up to date as of March 2008, those on the website will continue to be updated on an ongoing basis. Therefore users should log on regularly to www.sdps.ie to access more recently issued materials or updated versions of those contained here.
